Women in Poker Hall of Fame Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher Hosting Holdem for Health Las Vegas is no surprise when you look at all the wonderful things that the women do for poker and charity. Just last week we wrote about these remarkable ladies hosting the Senior Poker Tour in Tunica. Holdem for Health plays a significant part in benefiting women, children and the homeless in Las Vegas.
Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher Hosting Holdem for Health Las Vegas are not only two well known women in poker who are also in the Women’s Poker Hall of Fame. The women are partners in Card Player Cruises and Co-Founders of Tournament Directors Association, also known as TDA. Holdem for Health also has the exceptionally talented Barbara Jones organizing the tournament.
The tournament is to support Mobile Health Programs including:
- Nevada Health Centers Mammovan
- Nevada Children’s Health Project Van
- Ronald McDonald Care Mobile
The tournament will be held on March 24th 2018 at the South Point Hotel. The hotel is located at 9777 S. Las Vegas Boulevard. Festivities start at 3pm. Tournament sponsor Tito’s Vodka will be offering sampling. There will be appetizers and random giveaways throughout. Of course, seating is limited and the event is sure to be popular. The tournament is a $120 buy-in with $50 going to the prize pool, $50 going to the Nevada Health Centers and $20 going to the house. There are 15/20 minute blind levels, the prize pool dependable on the amount of registrations.
